It has been getting hacked by the Chinese spammers for the past week. But today you can not post or do anything, some how they got into the main system.

It's been some combination of Chinese, Japanese, and especially for today Korean spammers. The fact they allow automatic registration probably contributed to this in some way, shape, or form.

I am curious if the site is now compromised. I hope JJ can put something out ASAP.

This, in my opinion, is close to the tip of the iceberg for that site. The pay-to-post hurt, but there are other factors that have caused its decline I speculate. The fact they ban any mention of other message boards such as Yappi and SEOPs, despite the fact those boards are generally geared toward different areas of the state, is ridiculous and hurts the interest of plentiful discussion rather than promoting it. Other issues I think has been in the moderating practices. In the past month or so its been good, but went the Steubenville case broke that forum was a war-zone. There's a few other instances of times where threads should've gotten axed but didn't.

Yeah, yappi is the sports forum the state now. It's most big catholic supporters but that's Ohio football.

JJ Huddle will soon have to evolve to stay alive. If they make it a free site im sure it would still get supportive donations.

But it seems JJ Huddle isnt to friendly with Southern Ohio... they care more about Cincy, Columbus and up North.

I used to post on there a lot. I pretty much quit posting or going to it when Ironton was in the state title game in Bball and all they talked about was North College Hill and OJ Mayo never mentioned Ironton at all and made it seem like NCH had already won the title before the game was played. They hate southern Ohio on there.

I posted on the site since its beginning. I stopped posting after it sold and became a paid site. From time to time, I have posted on some topics but rarely do they have any real conversation about this part of the state.
