I believe that massie has developed into what Ironton was in the 80s, 90s. Tough, big, kids that run the ball, play great defense, and keep the other team off balanced with pass/option. They have a great staff and lifting program. It also doesn't hurt that they get Clinton county/the northern part of warren county's best kids :122249

Also, it's good to see this for coach mcsurley (who coached some tough places) get these great accomplishments at the end of his career. Massie has some coming back, they'll still make the playoffs, but maybe chilli can get them next year for the Scol crown.

Agreed, very good system they have in place there. I think Massie will still be right in the thick of things next year too!

Massie plays good team football and I have never heard their fans whine, like so many fans do, when they play a private school.

Their only loss in 2 yrs came to DeSales, but they've beat Bishop Hartley, Archbishop Alter, McNic, and now Mooney.
