Four of the biggest defensive plays last week were knocked down passes, 3 by Trae Williams and one by Joey Burrow. Trae did get beat on the first passing TD by Tri-Valley, but no more after that.

The Athens defense deserves some credit. They stepped up big when needed and answered many doubts.

These clowns will give Athens no credit! Hell the one guy knows about Joey's game but cannot even begin to spell Burrow

As expected, Athens has no D and Tri-Valley is imposing their will. I don't expect the 2nd half to get any better, especially with that weak OL & DL. Tri-Valley ruling the trenches.

So they come on the field with a baseball bat.....interesting. I listen to the game on 107.7 radio last week and those announcers are great. Jim as always does a fantastic job especially with time and score but also which direction they are going. They also don't stumble over each other and talk over each other when a big play happens so you can understand them. Look forward to listening again. I think Athens wins by 7 in this one.

This is a tough one. I expect another high scoring game. I have only seen highlights of Marion Franklin and they look like they have real good athletes with speed and a QB that is not the best throwing QB but when the throw is on the money watch out! Also big up front as most people have already heard. As in most weeks Athens will be physically outmatched on the Defensive side of the ball but will play hard from the first to the last snap. I hope they can cause some turnovers and create points off of them. I also think they need to do a better job at finishing plays on defense, it seems that they are around the ball all the time but have trouble finishing. This could be a direct result of being overmatched physically, young, or inexperienced. Whatever it is I hope it is better this week. They seem to find a way to win each week and I hope this one isn't any different. I don't care what the score is as long as it ends in a WIN for the dogs.

105 does a great job as well! Preview show is Thursday as well as coaches show at 8. Ryan Adams will be on so be sure to tune in. Power 105 and wxtq.com is the only place to tune in online. The problems have been righted on the 105 broadcast. Don't worry :)

I have watched bother teams this year and Imo Athens will win this game easier than last week. MF definatly has speed and size but think Athens is more disciplined and executes a little better at key positions. Now I watched MF mid season and like all teams who advance deep into the playoffs they have had to have gotten better. But my gut says they cant score with Athens.

Stories Rivals (who produced that video) is awesome. Muskingum County is lucky to have them.

yes final 4 (state semis) are played on a neutral field and the championship game will be played either in canton or massilon. would be nice if it was played at the shoe

It will be nice next year when the championship games are in columbus. I've got to admit though it will be hard to beat the atmosphere of canton and massilon. Great places to watch football. It will be hard to capture that experience in the horse shoe with 6000 or 7000 people in that giant stadium.

Alright Bulldogs, back in week 9 I predicted (along with a lot of others) that the Region 9 Finals would be Athens and Marion Franklin. I predicted a loss by Athens then, but it is official lol I just completed by Pick-Em selections and I have Athens winning this one. Simply think this team is figuring out a lot about themselves in Week 11 and 12, and will find a way in Week 13. Good luck Bulldogs, I will be making the 45 minute trek to Logan (and Pizza Crossing) to watch you in Week 13, rooting for SEO in this one.
