Back when I was a boy and we used to run the honky tonks, I used to love drink it up in Glouster. Watched the first half of a lot of games back then. seems to me I remember hearing one name over and over with those unbeaten teams. If mammary serves me correct, the name was George Kuntz. Played on an unbeaten team and now he is coaching one. If the Shingle Inn was still open, his picture should be over the bar. If anyone sees ole George, buy him a beer for me.

I did some digging and found that Jason Meade's dad is in fact Kevin Meade, and he was the head coach at Athens at one time.
Well if you dug a little deeper and took a look at his background you'd of seen he played at Akron for the Zips, Coached at Waverly,Logan,Athens before coming to NY. He's lived in the district and all of his kids graduated and will graduate from NY. NY has had 3 great coaches and are from the same family. Ny will be back, but for now, good luck to Trimble. Here's hoping you make it farther in the playoffs than any other Athens county team this year! Might be Trimble rutters but they have shown more class the the Bulldogs every thought of doing. Trimble is always competitive, its new to Athens and they just dont handle it with any humility. Go Cats!

Why is there not much talk about the weekly TVC Hocking Championship game this week? It is between Federal Hocking and Trimble tonight.

I believe you are talking about GREG KOONS. Spelling and drinking and typing at the same time must be tough.
He did not play football. Have you been drinking?
