stay injury free these next 2 games and build on last nights performance in game 7 and 8 and bring everything together on the last 2 games. the new running back looked very good last night lets hope he just had cramps. much better performance by the QB . 0 turnovers and a healthy team will produce a lot more wins than losses.
Good luck Tigers.
Good luck Tigers.

. You lost a lineman to injury-Hate that for the kids senior year but(everyone has lost a kid to injury by now). You lost a running back to transfer out. Now you got yourselves a South Point stud and he is the new star running back? We lost our 1st string T/T SR Webb for the season week 4 due to concussions.local superstar wrote:. We lost our 1st string FB/LB JR Bodmer for the season with a broken leg after week 2.
We lost our 1st string T/T SR Tyler Taylor after week 3 with a leg injury
We lost our 1st string LB/ 2nd string FB SO Young due to an Ankle injury after week 3, he tried to come back in the Portsmouth game but reinjured it.
We lost our 1st string HB/S SR to a shoulder injury week 4 during the 1 QTR of the Portsmouth game.
We had our 1st string HB/S quit after the Portsmouth game.
That's 6 starters on both sides of the ball that I can think of off the top of my head.
We had 11 players not dress for the Johnson Central game due to injuries, we did get Sophomore HB Palladino who played his 1st game of the season against Johnson Central

As much as I hate to say it I don't think Ironton wins another game this year. They have St Charles this week, then Hartley and I think they will be so beat up by these two big physical teams that both Oak Hill and Raceland will beat them too.

that very well could happen, let's hope not. don't forget Johnson central was a big dude too, and very physical/but it will turn itself around.
Re: WEEK 7 IRONTON 2-4@4-2 COLUMBUS ST. CHARLES
I thought the line looked better than I expected this past week..they were just out manned. I'm not sure what size the two Columbus lines are but if we get a couple of breaks..we have a back out there who has break away speed..something we haven't had in a while. If we can play a bit tighter on defense...not the 12 yard zone. In another positive note..with the loss Ironton moved up another spot in computer rankings to #9.
Re: WEEK 7 IRONTON 2-4@4-2 COLUMBUS ST. CHARLES
REAL UGLY REAL QUICK JUST WAY TO TOUGH A SCHEDULE!! TIME TO REEL THAT SCHEDULE BACK BECAUSE IN ALL HONESTY THE GAMES WITH COLUMBUS SCHOOLS AREN'T VERY CLOSE THE LST FEW YEARS AND THE SAME FOR THE BIG KY SCHOOLS. BELIEVE ME NO ONE HAS MORE RESPECT FOR THAT IRONTON TRADITION THAN ME AND GETTING GAMES IS A HELLUVA LOT HARDER THAN IT SOUNDS#SUCCESS#TRADITION#TANK. BUT A LITTLE EASIER SCHEDULE WOULD PUT YOU RIGHT IN THE MIX IN D-5 NOW. AND SOUNDS LIKE INJURIES HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE AS WELL SO ALL YA CAN DO IS STRAPEM UP AND GO HAVE FUN.

Are you kidding me? We've had a back with breakaway speed all along. Everyone knows that He was just barely used for whatever reason.IBTT wrote:I thought the line looked better than I expected this past week..they were just out manned. I'm sure Russell's win didn't have anything to do with you moving up. I thouight you realized you don't get points for a loss.IBTT wrote:I thought the line looked better than I expected this past week..they were just out manned. No kidding..do you not have enough sense to understand when someone is laughing about something and not being all serious...sounds like you need to relaxnoles_fan wrote:I'm sure Russell's win didn't have anything to do with you moving up. I won't argue that point...as you said we didn't get a chance to see it...I would have loved to have seen both of them together with number 32 or 33 healthy at fullback.FormerDragon902444 wrote:Are you kidding me? I am perfectly relaxed. I was only trying to make sure you had all the facts and had not been misinformed.IBTT wrote:No kidding..do you not have enough sense to understand when someone is laughing about something and not being all serious...sounds like you need to relaxnoles_fan wrote:I'm sure Russell's win didn't have anything to do with you moving up.
