I agree this game is more intriguing but the problem is neither Meigs or VC are from Athens county.. which is what we cover. Thus we will be over the hill, across the river. LolFootball fan wrote:This should be the game of the week.not Federal Hocking and Wahama

Nice response A town. Always classy!A-Town Big Dog 2 wrote:I wasn't trying to fish for praise for Athens, our egos don't need stroking, the Bulldogs have gotten plenty of that on their own and from many sources. VC played very well early and Meigs has come on very strong as of late. Which one of these two will emerge as a legit contender for the TVC Ohio crown?

I look For Meigs to win this game their Defense has been steadily getting better and I question if VC can stop Meigs' Fast paced Offense. but I look for it to be a good game. 28-14 Meigs wins

I got to see the Vinton, Alex. Game film a few things stood out at the end Alexander’s h-back pass looked like two forward passes. And the assisting the runner call in to wasDundas wrote:If VC doesn't figure out how to defend the pass, this one won't be close. A bad call. On the winning TD for VC the officials in the film never signaled a TD they just looked at each other like they were trying to come up with another call. was it that
Bad. And what do you except at Meigs

46-20 final. 46-8 with 11:20 left in the game and Bartrum pulled the starters and Vinton didn't sub jv until 1:50 left in the game. Meigs has been playing great D the past few weeks and it continued. When meigs pulled the varsity they had allowed 140 yards and 82 of that came off of one pass and meigs had 410 yards of O at the time. Great job guys.
