What was classy was Crabtree taking a knee with just under 3 mins inside the 30. Very classy and a good coach.

Yea well I have to eat crow too. Valleys defense is definitely their strength, unbelievable. They remind me of the West defense back in 08. Minford and Burg need come ready to play. Might have to go see the match up with Burg. I did not think Valley could 3peat but with a defense that good, they can. West played "flat" from the first play anyway but it still would have been lopsided score. Good Luck Valley, got some real nice looking kids out there. West just needs to take their lumps and regroup. Try to win out.

Once again West talks a big game about Valley and gets whipped! I don't think there is a question that Valley was once again the more physical team. The Valley D makes me think they have the advantage over Burg in week 9. Other than that, Valley is the most physical and athletic team in the league. Would be very surprised to see them lose, although I hope Burg gets them. This thread is very typical of west though, even with the apologize. I went through the old posts and it is great reading. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way!

Possible........yes

They may sneak in at #8, but if I were them I wouldn’t want too in this region. It’s been a tough enough season already

I’ve never seen a region so strong and yet so weak in the same sense.

This Valley team has the best defense I have seen in years. I do believe they will beat Burg and win the SOC. West was outmatched at every position, but especially the line play. And appreciate the comments from Jesco and neutron. Your team has a chance to make a state run.
