How are the local teams fairing?

Minford is currently 3-0 with wins of 32-0 over Rock Hill, 42-6 over Valley and 44-6 over Wellston.

Surely someone else can boast about their JV program this season, most of these athletes will be varsity players next season.

I believe Valley is 1-1 with the aforementioned loss to Minford and a 20-12 win over Portsmouth on Monday.

I think West is 1-1 I know they lost to burg 14-12 and beat coal grove 30 something to 6 I think.

Adena is 3-0. wins over Greenfield, Westfall and Piketon. Playing many sophmores and freshmen on varsity also.

I post this question to all of you.

Do you think that schools who do not get a full schedule for the JV team is hurting their varsity program in the long run?

I believe that it hurts a program. Having a jv team helps the younger kids gain experience that will help them in the following years. A player can't learn anything by standing on the sidelines every Friday night.

Minford is now 4-0 with today's 28-0 win over visiting Oak Hill. The Falcons turned the ball over four times and still won the game. The defense made things very difficult for the Oaks.

Wheelersburg JV is 3-0. Having trouble getting teams to play us. Minford cancelled I seen where they are 3-0 why not play us?

^ That's news to me.????? As the schools are 10-min away from each other, Minford and Wheelersburg should play every year.
