Wk4 River Valley @ Nelsonville-York

Post by Orange and Brown »

The Raiders are struggling and the Bucks finally got win number 1 on the year in week 3 behind a monsterous effort from TB Alex Mount (26 carries 331 yards)
This will be the final time these 2 teams meet as non league opponents. RV will be members of the TVC in 2014
Thoughts?

The Raiders seem to really be struggling in all areas. I look for Alex Mount and the Bucks to put up another crooked number.
Good luck to both teams.

The Buckeyes will pick up win #2 in easy fashion against the Raiders.

I'd say that this is week 4's "Big UGLY" game of the week. The Buckeyes score a bunch, and the Raiders, not very much.

I know that Alex mount is a hell of back and is very fast....But people need to step up and give the O line credit for opening those big holes and blocking for Alex mount...It is sad that all the glory goes to one kid and not the rest of the team!!!!! But I am very proud of Alex mount for the hard work he did last night and he has a very bright future ahead of him...But the Bucks need to step up on the defense or it will still be ugly in a lot of are games...Maybe some of are O line needs to play both ways in some key positions!!!!

No more Cannon at Boston Field.
The state put there foot down.

Unless those linemen can play DB then that won't help. Why would you want line playing both ways anyhow? IMHO the best Front 4 is the one they've been playing... Also the Mays boy maybe the best NY has on D so far.

Must have been too many complaints haha. That thing didn't take many breaks over the years!

I agree. Our front 4 aren't the problem.

I know Ny will get a big win in this game.... Im like others and hope that they can use this game to work on our defense... I think that we need to move a few boys... we are getting burnt on passing...but you cant have a short 5'6 boy playing a postition against 6' + boys... I think they boys that are playing d should be the ones playing but I would love to see them move some of them around... I wish they would switch off the safety and the DE's around just to see what would happen...but thats just my opinion... and no my child does not start varsity...lol...

BIGHIT you beat me to this one.

This week the Bucks roll again on offense, and even when the O-line misses a block or two #1 will run through the arm tackles on his way to another record breaker. Keep the Mount train a rollin boys!
