Re: WK3 (2-0) Vinton County @ (2-0) Bloom Carroll
The Vikings have a shot to start 3-0!
When was the last time the Vikings did that?
I am gonna say VC by 5

The last time VC started 2-0 was 2004. The last 3-0 start was back in 1997 when the Vikes started 5-0 before dropping 3 of their final 5 that season.Orange and Brown wrote:The Vikings have a shot to start 3-0!

I like what is happening at VC, really nice to see some hard work paying off for their team. That being said I think Bloom-Carroll is the first team that is better than VC on paper better and I have to give a edge to the Bulldogs.
Re: WK3 (2-0) Vinton County @ (2-0) Bloom Carroll
I agree atown. The Bulldogs should be the favorite in this one. But to the Vikings credit, they have shot out of the gate averaging 33.5 ppg. I think the Vikings can score against the Bulldogs, its a matter of defense in this one.

Re: Week 3: (2-0) Vinton County @ (2-0) Bloom Carroll
Bloom Carroll finished 6-4 last year but managed to qualify for the playoffs. They were defeated in the first round by Ironton.

Bloom Carroll had to go 3 overtimes last night to beat Whithall 52-51.sounds like defense must not be very strong.See article link below. Vinton County wins by 2 touchdowns.Dundas wrote:2013 results..

I may go to this game. A friend's son plays for BC. BC's coach in his second year and has this program moving in the right direction. BC by a lot.

Bloom wins big. The Vikings will put up some points, but Bloom will be too good in the end. Bloom beats most teams out of the SE this year.
Re: Week 3: (2-0) Vinton County @ (2-0) Bloom Carroll
Vs Unioto, people said VC would get beat. Vs Piketon they said the same thing. This week is no different. The Vikings will be ready come Friday. They answered the question, could they win, in the first two weeks. This week the question is, can they play with, and possibly beat, a playoff caliber team? We'll find out in a few days.
Re: Week 3: (2-0) Vinton County @ (2-0) Bloom Carroll
Does BC have the same quarterback as last year??

BC is not an Svc team that is for sure and I have never known there D to be weak that is almost laughable , I would say the pressure is on VC Defence because I almost guarantee the Vikes will be held to less than 14 points and probably less than 10, I love the way this VC team plays together , but to me the D is not there they will get better as the season goes . But as of right now sorry guys BC 28 or more to VC 7

Good luck to both teams in this one. I think Bloom Carroll takes it,35-21. I look for V-C. to make it close in the 2nd half and then B.C. will score late to win by, 14.

But the Bulldogs are only averaging 49.5 points against much better opponents. The MSL is a different monster than the SVC and this game will test the Vikings way more than the previous two weeks have. I wish them well though. Would love to see a massive turnaround in just one season.Dundas wrote:I agree atown. The Bulldogs should be the favorite in this one. This is going to be a tough one for the Vikes. They seem to have problems putting all four quarters together. I think it is because of lack of depth. They are still a young team with most of the boys playing on both sides of the ball and special teams. They always seem to keep fighting even when they are tired. They never quit or lay down. I think BC has the edge but if they look past the young Vikes may get upset.Dundas wrote:I agree atown. The Bulldogs should be the favorite in this one. It was so nice ya had to HATE twice. Only averaging 49.5 points against MUCH BETTER OPPONENTS. How do you know this. Even if Heath and Whitehall are better than us why sarcasim. Then in typical Danicalifornia fashion a fake bid of good tidings. You have to be a Gemini cause I clearly see your two faces.danicalifornia wrote:But the Bulldogs are only averaging 49.5 points against much better opponents.
