Just turned it on the radio and heard Maddox for 75 screen pass for touchdown. I guess I was right about my previous post. Except they occasionally keep calling him Edmonds on the radio. :)

Fairland - 41
West - 29
FINAL

I guess that delay in the game because of the sprinklers gave the Siders enough time to catch their breath and mount an offensive.

Wow didn't expect that. Hats off to the dragons for the second year in a row. Was impressed with the qb made some outstanding throws and the receivers made some outstanding catches. Still trying to figure out how Fairlands second td was ruled a td looked liked the youngman landed on about the 4 yard line, ball comes out we recover ball and called a td. Though it should of been down there or incomplete, just my thoughts.

Definitely need to clean up the mistakes. Fumbles and penalties will kill you. Not taking anything away from Fairland but over 150 in penalty yardage and taking 2 scores off the board is huge.

Agree. Nice adjustments made in the 2nd half came close to changing the game around. Looks like West could of used another scrimmage. Lets hope they get their nose to the grindstone and turn this around next week.

The first fairland td should have been an incomplete pass. Our first td was called back on a hold. Probably a good call but fairland holds a lot on those screens and it's rarely called. Our second td was called back because the receiver walks to the line of scrimmage and doesn't get set. We should have took the chip shot field goal inside the ten. Thats 24 points right there. But fairland deserved to win. They were ready to play and we weren't. That first half was terrible to say the least

Besides x's and o's, the two things that really hurt last night were overconfidence because most of the starters watched minford manhandle fairland last week and the lack of a scrimmage to work on things. We are one or two games behind. And really b caused a. They thought all they had to due was show up and they were wrong.

Also#32 is a heck of a running back and didn't play against minford. Letting#10 go back to receiver and gash our secondary

Triplett will right the ship, he is an excellent coach. Wish my boys could of played for him.
I have heard nothing but good about this group of players and how hard they work so good luck the rest of the season.
Doesn't look like any games are easy this year for any team, lot of good teams. Hope West players the best.

In the tank voodoo, in the tank. :122246 :122245  You be better off focusing on what happened to Ironton football my friend. :12222
To answer the scrimmage question, West had a team cancel scrimmage at the week of, not sure who it was, due to injury? I don't believe in excuses, but think it hurt West.Fairland has a stud in Maddox, the player that didn't participate in scrimmages or play last year. As someone said earlier, West game adjustments at half changed the game. Good Luck Fairland the rest of the way. Good Luck West!

Fairland did alot of holding and got away with most of them! Three td's were scored on plays that should have penalties instead they get 7pts. Not making excuses, but i was in the press box and seen it for myself! Does west have some work to do? Yes... But that's hard to recover from at any level of play!!
