what really cracks me up after reading all these post is that the reason this is such a good game is because it is always a close game... there is never a blow out or anybody running over anybody else... i know that people get behind their teams and all but be realistic there is not going to be any kinda blow out.... As for having young players on both teams thats better in my opion cause pretty sure the jv game last year Ny was the winner....and yes Jenkins was playing in that game..... I think NY is going to win but I think its going to be a very close, hard hitting game and it will come down to the last few mins in the game to determine who is really going to be the winner..... Go Bucks....

All I'm saying is that if and when the Tomcats win, lets not blame it on the lights or the refs, or whatever else we can come up with.

Make sure Glouster pays there light bill before next Saturday!!
The mere fact that you use the word "upset" reveals a bit of a crack in that confidence. Don't worry about the lights. If everything goes the way it should, this game will be decided before dark.
No cracks in confidence from me...Trimble is the clear favorite in this game.

Don't worry I won't use any of your guys excuses.

I believe that the team that wins will have earned that victory......

So all I'm sayin is that when you guys get beat don't go blaming the refs or the weather or the formation of the stars....just chalk it up to a hard fought game.

What about Field conditions? How is the field looking over there at the Tomcat dome? That field if it rains turns into a pig pin at times!!!!

OUR excuses??? LOL Who's coaches was it a few years back Who chased the refs off the field and then punched out a window at NY school trying to get to the refs ??? I'm almost positive it wasn't Trimbles

Enforcer I think you mean wasn't Trimble because I'm assuming that was the game that ended with the illegal forward pass :-D

WOW, I think some folks on here are a little unrealistic this year. I am an avid Buckeye fan and as much as I hate to say it, I think Trimble will definitely have NY's number this year. I don't it will be all that close either, (hopefully, I'm wrong) I would have to say by 3TD's this year.. No Matter what happens, I wish a great game by both teams with no injuries. Good Luck!!

BTW, even if this is the wrong time, but after watching Logan tonight, they may not win all their games, but they will be competitive against all of there foes... wow, they are a totally different team from the last few years.. This new coach is the real deal.

After watching Trimble last week and Ny tonight.
Cats Win 35-0.
Bish would even have to take the cats this year. :)
Bish takes "The Cats"
I like the sound of that.

After tonight as much as I hate to say it Trimble has this one big I am a die hard Ny fan but wow we looked like a rebuilding team tonight things didn't look good at all ... NY has to make some changes BIG TIME!!!! But once again if coach would learn to Play some more of the talent I believe things would be different...But I still look for a hard fought game..Good luck to both teams this year but I have a feeling it is going to be a long long season for Nelsonville :122247

The Trimble Athens jambo looked pretty good both teams were pretty tough with a 21-20 edge for Trimble. Looks like NY has atleast 2 loses this year. Well make that 3 forgot about Newark Catholic week 2. Either way 7-3 record for you guys this year and still make playoffs

No playoffs and yes that QB looked horrible We wont get past logan or meigs or maybe even alexander as well with the way we looked we wont win not one game.....It kills me to say that!!! In my whole life I haven't ever seen NY this bad Maybe a miracle from God himself may save us But I don't know Its like the line just don't care this year even It's like they have a grudge against either the coach or the freshmen that are starting over a lot of them but don't get me wrong those freshmen did there job...NY is just in a rebuilding period is all...Many teams have been through this period and now its NY's turn.. :122248

Im a Trimble alumni and I gota say your not rebuilding. NY never rebuilds you reload I can honestly see a solid 7-3 season. Too much talent over the hill to say your rebuilding. But I hope you guys go 9-1 I root for you guys except 1 game a year

After seeing Trimble play as solidly as they did last night and reading about the struggles of N-Y, I can't help but think Trimble wins by a wider margin than what I originally thought. Trimble wins this by 2+ scores IMO.
