With that region, it will be tough to make the playoffs and hosting a game will likely take 9-1 or 10-0

This region is going to be very tough. A lot of the top teams don't play each other so there is no cancelling of points. 3 of the 24 defending regional champions are in this region.

Local teams will have to step up their game plan to compete with those northern powerhouses. Preseason training and team chemistry is crucial. Let's see who can rise to the occasion.

I am looking forward to this season. Southern Ohio football will be the strongest it has been in a while, and I expect a few teams to make a good playoff run.
I also like West adding Liberty Union to the schedule in week 3.

If Piketon has a good tradition of football Adena must have one also. Piketon's record vs Adena last ten years is 2-8.

Adena has been to the playoffs 4 times, while Piketon only twice. Portsmouth has been down recently, but they are 8-9 in the playoffs. Northridge hasn't been to the playoffs since 2004, may have them confused with Johnstown Monroe who lost in the State Semis in 2011 and has been 5 times since 2005.

No matter what, this is a monster regional tradition wise and will be a beast to get out of. I bet Westfall wishes they were in this one the last two years versus the Clinton Massie regional though.
