Yes, he's ready to go.

Go Tigers.......
Was he injured or something?
No injuries, he's good to go. Some of the backup RB's got some good playing time in both Preseason games.

We'll see all three of Irontons starting RB's together for the first time this year (besides practice) vs Wheelersburg, - Barker 6'1 200, Young 6'3 230 and Palladino 5'11 200

I was just wondering, someone was asking if Palladino was back. I was thinking all no, I hope he wasn't injured in practice or something and was healing, but good to go for the Burg game.

You don't hold a kid out unless he has some sort of injury. It's probably a tweek and it's causing some aggravation. Other than that I'm sure he's going to be healthy.

I didn't know what was going on, when voodoo ask if he was back. I must have missed something. I'm glad he's back, like his style of running the ball. Very good running back.

Palladino is a key player to Ironton's Offense this year.
If you know what he can do then why risk him in a meaningless game.
He plays offence and defense which I would love to see him stick to offence and Young stay on defense.
That would keep them both fresh and maybe see a few other player step up and limit the amount of two way players.
Ironton is huge on both lines and they can run the ball no doubt.
Key is being able to pass when needed to keep Burg off balance and other teams down the road.

I agree, that was just tune up game and him sitting out was just a minor thing im sure he is 100% go this Friday! good point on a few other players stepping up and not getting starters tired so fast!!! the key to this 1st game and passing is hit burg when they least expect it cause there gonna be coming with 8-9 players every play expecting RUN RUN . if they catch burg bringing 8-9 they will have 1 on 1 coverage against two 6-5 ends

I agree Ironton has some size on the ends I remember a few years ago Wheelersburg had some size there to and it hurt a lot of teams including Ironton.
Hopefully it will help Ironton this time.
I heard the QB for Ironton was smart and had a good arm and quick release speed not as much as Cox did but accurate a big help there.

I thought irontons QB did a good job. He's calm, which is a good. Not sure if he's athletic as cox but he does a good job of facilitating the ball.

Burg has taken the Fighting Tigers behind the woodshed 3 times in 2 years. However, this year Ironton has a beefier line for Paladino and Co to run behind and should be better on defense.

I think this is a very close game but the worm always turns.

Burg 21
Ironton 28

If the Tigers are within 10 at the half it is their ball game.

This game will be tight at the half. Burg's conditioning will be the game changer in the second half!

I think it will be a close game regardless.
Turnovers will be what makes it a blow out or not for either side.
I don't see Burg getting blown out I can see Ironton beating them but in a close game.
