Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
Fort Frye throttled a couple really bad teams in Southern and Federal Hocking. Belpre has a very experienced great QB in Tav Miller. Fort is rolling out a freshman.Probably the deepest team Fort Frye has had under Huck. Cadets will need to lean on the big line and deep backfield. Control the clock and play good defense Fort Frye is playing all Srs and Jrs except at QB and they are good at home. Tate is going to make some mistakes but Fort Frye will only get better but as an early season matchup Ill take Belpre super close.

Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
I' taking belpre 35-21 if Belpre can keep the penalties to a minimum. Haven't seen them play but with pretty much their whole team returning I think they should do well if the OL has improved since last season should give the next man up some holes to run through. Tough to lose a guy like Manny Tullius but with Miller and Bedgood coming back I think that should open up the run game.

Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
Fort Frye only scored one touchdown against South Point in a scrimmage this summer. SP scored 3 or so on them . So I am picking Belpre

Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
Yes they should be.Belpre is too busy worrying about week one to even think about week 2. We wish the Cats all the luck in the world Sat. and we will worry about them come Monday.Still look for a very good close game at the Fort with a Eagle victory to open the season.EasternDspy wrote:Shouldn't Trimble be worried about sat? Re: Belpre @ Fort Frye Week 1
Fort Frye also was missing multiple players vs South Point and it was Tates first every varsity action. He has did a 180 since that scrimmage weeks ago. Also South Points coach is close to Fort Frye program and knows things others don't. Chad Coffman is a good coach.

Re: WK 1 Belpre @ Fort Frye
This might be the best matchup of the season. The team with the fewest mistakes wins.

Re: WK 1 Belpre @ Fort Frye
GAME OF THE WEEK and a greta test for both squads looking for a game 11. Heck of a way to start the season. Be like OSU v Michigan in game one. Wish I could make it to this one.
