Bear is a long way away and the cupboards in Jackson after last year are "bare".

I am gonna mosey on over to the Wellston thread now Ironman92 and quit hijacking your topic.

Just wanted to be first to call this upset instead of coming on here Saturday after game and piling on once results are known.

I don't have a lot of issue with you self-promoting know it all Jackson peeps, strapped it up back in the day when we were both SEOAL members. You guys been trying to jump ship now for 7-8 years. Maybe it is time someone down there in Academic Excellence land realize it is not the message and maybe the messengers.

In meantime open enrollment works both ways bring that speed demon our way.

Wondered when this was going to happen. Wellston players and coaching staff have nothing but respect for the Jackson
Players and staff. We are working hard and look forward to a great game as you do.

It's all fun. Good Luck coach. Neither teams needs an ounce of motivation. Game will be decided on the field.

Know several of the Jackson players and have coached them in track love em. Feel very fortunate to coach these Wellston kids and feel the same about them. It's just a good feeling to be part of turning it around.

I kinda of agree with the kumbai or kumbaya (spelling) comment above...lol.

Rumors of stolen Jackson playbooks and sideline hand signals by Wellston abound but we soft sell how much love we love each other in public lol.

With all the video and HUDL information floating around the internet stolen playbooks and hand signals probably not a big deal...but let's be honest there is a lot of point proving and ego that rides on this game and if you think for one minute that anyone believes the hugs and kisses scenario being bandied about above you are mistaken.

Ain't buying that this is just another game and we all love each other lol.

Hey baseball guy, I thought stealing signs just part of the game, right? Least we didn't purposely not repair our field and leave all those holes in the turf in an attempt to slow us down on that first Saturday night.

Sounds like first week of practice going well.

Some team building trips, along with typical first week conditioning. Red-White scrimmage coming up this weekend.

Can't wait till the first game..go Red!

Kudos to Craig Dunn and the other people that stepped up and will continue to do what is needed to make the best out of a not so ideal SEOAL situation. I like a lot of the ideas in the article, never know just keep on working through things, find a school or two, and we may be able to salvage the SEOAL after all.

Jackson Red-White inter-squad scrimmage seemed to go well, freshman team looks to be doing well also as they scrimmaged. Didn't count the number of kids but program looks to be in good shape from the number at all levels.

Meet the team next week and also the first scrimmage with Washington Court House.

Go Red!

What time is the Court House scrimmage today? Won't be able to make it to Jackson, but still interested to hear how it goes.

Hopefully someone can post a projected lineup for the Ironmen after seeing them in action today. Just considering what Jackson lost to graduation, I would think they will need to replace a lot of guys up front.
