Vinton County Vikings 2015- New Coach, New Offense, New Era?
The Vikings are working hard, looking good in 7 on 7's, and have a new offense. No longer we will see the wishbone or the mid-line veer, it is spread and wide open. Not just having a new coach, or a new offense to be excited about, but a new attitude has been developing, and the kids are determined to change recent history. It starts tonight with midnight madness. I will be there. I hope to see you there!

Ahh Midnight Madness was always fun to watch at Wellston during the Hinton era, good fun for the kids and pretty fun to watch as a parent.

Madness was awesome. Can't believe it's on us again already. Offense looks pretty good for getting started so late. Looks like there will multiple therats in the offense lead by one of the best players (33) in the TVC. Work hard Vikes these next couple weeks and get better! And let's go get a winning season this year! You deserve it!!!

Midnight Madness was super cool. Almost 70 kids playing football. VC will suprise some people.

Yea but will the kids run through brick walls like they would for Justy?hawkeyepierce wrote:The Vikings are working hard, looking good in 7 on 7's, and have a new offense. Great question! Remains to be seen. I think the kids who really want to be there are on the football team. The numbers are low as always for a D3 school, but the 45 or so kids are there cause the really care. At midnight madness coaches were fired up and the kids seemed to be as well.Ground Buck wrote:Yea but will the kids run through brick walls like they would for Justy?hawkeyepierce wrote:The Vikings are working hard, looking good in 7 on 7's, and have a new offense. The Vikes are coming off a decent look in their first scrimmage. Looked very good on defense but offensively they struggled at times. They looked very explosive but need to clean some things up in their passing attack. Can't wait to see them Friday for their second live action. This will be a good test before it is really on next week against the Tanks of Unioto. Let's go Vikes!
