It was one heck of a game. Both teams strapped it up and went at it for 4 quarters. In the end the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes were able to make a stand!
I hope you go 14-1 Tomcats.......
Bring on Newark Catholic!

What a crowd!!! The place was pack and the game was very good,.
I agree it came down to conditioning.
Nelsonville lines were able to push the Tomcats around especially in the fourth quarter , when they scored two unanswered touchdowns.

I agree. The old gym teacher should be calling the play. Just plain got out coached in the second half.ttomcat 80 wrote:Came down to NY want it more and poor coaching on Trimble.play calling was bad 2nd and 5 on the 11 and the 2 plays that was called come on get real that's was bad that's all I got to say don't yell at the kids that's on you

This post cracks me up! This game did not come down to play calling! It came down to conditioning and something called HEART. NY offensive line was dominating Trimble and the Cats quit. Football is an emotional game. NY could taste victory and fought hard to get it while Trimble had players laying all over the field cramping up. Don't blame the coaches!ttomcat 80 wrote:Came down to NY want it more and poor coaching on Trimble.play calling was bad 2nd and 5 on the 11 and the 2 plays that was called come on get real that's was bad that's all I got to say don't yell at the kids that's on you

It's not the X's and O's ...it's the Jimmies and Joes.

You are right about having heart but you don't know much about football or coaching if you do not think the play calling didn't stink.then ripping their butts after the game they need to take some of the blame to just didn't get out played it was out coached to.
