They could make national news and set a scoring record in this game. I predict they call the dogs off and it ends up 58-0

ML will take kneel downs before it gets anywhere close to those scores.

98-20 Bishop Ready over Washington Court House in 2013 is why we have the running clock.

Maria Stein herself would win this game.

Marion Local extends their winning streak with a 63-0 victory. Moral Victory, Beallsville will get a first down.

As bad as that sounds they might only get a few first downs

At least Beallsville will get a nice share of the gate.
I think the Blue Devils will score. Just hope they come out of the game healthy because they've earned the respect of the rest of the OVAC.

SS - I assume that this is a Saturday afternoon game? It is 227 miles from Beallsville to Maria Stein, which is about 3.5 hours by car with light traffic, probably 4 hours by bus  ..... I just hope that the Monroe County kids come out of this game healthy.

SD,
No, it's a Friday night game. Team left around 12:30 and it's more like 4.5 hrs. after a meal stop, etc.

Marion Local 48
Beallsville 6 2nd Quarter

Long weather delay at Maria Stein

Beallsville kids won't get back to Monroe County until 3 or 4 am.

54 - 6 Final

No idea what happened in the game, but going to guess the Marion Local staff was pretty classy and understanding of the situation. Classier than fellow OVAC teams would be no doubt.

My cousin, who lives in St. Henry, attended the game. He said the ML fans had much respect for the players on Bealsville's team. Respect is earned, and for Beallsville to be willing to play the 4-time defending state champion under the circumstances they're in, I have much respect too.

Bet you won't find any SOC I or II teams that will play ML or any other MAC team during the regular season. They would rather play some weak teams they know they can beat out of SEO.

I'm usually very sarcastic, but not this time, well done by Beallsville to score on ML as most teams won't this year. Hopefully they made it through without injuries and can get a win or two this year.
