A Saturday night kick-off, and a huge points game for these two Region 9 teams.

This game will show where Jackson stands in region 9. Zanesville pounded Sheridan 42-0. Sheridan and Granville was a toss up game
Re: Week 4 Jackson (3-0) vs. Granville (3-0)
Jackson will continue to improve and win this game 30-21
Re: Week 4 Jackson (3-0) vs. Granville (3-0)
I don't know much about Granville this season, but they're 3-0 and they have beaten some quality programs. I feel like the Ironmen will certainly have to play their best game of the season to date in order to stay unbeaten. Really wish I could be at Alumni Stadium on Saturday to see this one.

Zanesville has been VERY impressive the last two weeks. I don't think anyone in Region 9 will want to see them in the playoffs. Tri-Valley should be a big test this week though.RAIDER6309 wrote:This game will show where Jackson stands in region 9. Zanesville pounded Sheridan 42-0. Sheridan and Granville was a toss up game
Looks like Zanesville is #10 in the AP Poll, while Granville is at #8 and Jackson is #13. Not that it really matters, but still interesting.

Granville has a solid offense that can run well and pass better.
On defense from what I was able to see they play the pass better than the run, but I would not say they are weak against the run.

Might want to get your facts straight, both teams have played 2 teams with losing records and 1team with a winning record.talkfootball19 wrote:This is a first Jackson is play a team with a winning record

Tough, ranked opponent this week that will give us an idea of where we are at and where Granville is at in Region 9.
Not sure they will have played an opponent as physical as we are both sides of ball, not sure we have played an opponent as athletic as they are both sides of the ball. It will make for some interesting match-ups for sure.
Preparation key this week, signs of improvement each game, penalties and turnovers even more necessary to avoid as Granville will be fundamental I think and not beat themselves. Staff will have everyone coached up and ready to go.
Keys I think will be our secondary on defense and our O-line on offense. Be nice to establish run and grind some time off clock. If front 3 on defense has big game as they usually do and can be disruptive as they usually are it helps secondary I think as QB has less time.
Not too crazy about these Saturday games lol but it is what it is, Go Red!

This may turn out to be one heck of a game! I wish I could make the trip to watch it.
I'm gonna go with the Ironmen in this one.

The Blue Aces will be tough to beat and Jackson has not played well so far this season. Potential loss.

From what I have been told these two sound a little like each other.
Breaks in this game will determine the winner.
