It looks to be very possible, in the last couple years absolutely huge improvements.Omaha09 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 5:15 pmVery possible. I think they can. CG is the only team than can stop them now.

Re: DV R19
Div V is wide open for a new State champion this year. Anna lost their starting QB and without him they are hurting on offense. Their defense is very good. I watch them last week against ML and they put up a good fight but just lack the big O. If they had not lost him I would say they would have won state. Now I think the Burg has a great chance too. I watch the Burg Jackson game two weeks ago just so I could compare them to Anna. The QB for Anna was a senior too. That really stinks to have that happen but that happens. The best teams in the small schools are in Div 6 and it is loaded. No one in Div 5 could beat the best teams in Div 6.

I agree. I’m glad to see Fairland making great strides. I hope they continue to build upon the success they’ve had this year.Omaha09 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 5:15 pmVery possible. I'm hoping the winner of this region can get to the state final. I think the top two are burg and Johnstown. Academy's D has looked tough. We will get a comparison of Academy and Johnstown as Johnstown plays Newark Catholic on Thursday night on the CW. CA beat NC 31-0 I think.
Re: DV R19
Not a really good measuring stick for comparison this year. NC is not nearly as good this year as they have been, beating a downtrodden Utica team and Watkins (who only has 1 win).55buckeyes98 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 11:41 pm I'm hoping the winner of this region can get to the state final. For me, the time to find out if Academy is 'real' will come down to the Bloom Carroll game next week. But the speculation is the fun part

Hopefully Jtown running game will put some points on Nc tonight .
Might not be able to compare games tonight Seeing it's might be raining tonight ,But we will see
Wheelersburg looks like a great winner of the region With a unstoppable 6-6 receiver and team

Wonder if it will be aired in southern ohio? Do they also stream it live on the web ?55buckeyes98 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2017 11:41 pm I'm hoping the winner of this region can get to the state final. I was just saying we could compare the score of the Academy game vs. NC to the Jtown game vs. NC. Have to give NC credit they came to play last night. Jtown got it together and dominated 2nd half.fbfever9 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 8:27 amNot a really good measuring stick for comparison this year. Yeah Johnstown will probably get destroyed by Burg. I don't see anyone giving Burg a game in the region

I actually think Burg can win state. Anna vs Burg could be a good game if their QB comes back. Those MAC teams are tough since they see everything in their league

Give NC credit they came out to play in the first half, kept Jtown out of rhythm in first half. Jtown found their groove and dominated 2nd half. For a site like Drew P and for the score watching test it looks like Academy is better than JTown. I actually hope they get to match up in the playoffs!

Things shaping up. The bottom half of this region will be weak unless hartley stays in bottom half. 1-4 should have no troubles with 5-8
