Re: DV R19
So CA struggled to beat Liberty Union tonight? What? Maybe they aren’t as big of a threat as I made them out to be. Ready got their tails spanked by Yearling. Fairland gets beat by CG. Martins Ferry beats Beaver Local(Who have played an easy schedule and beat all the teams with losing records lol). Monroe looks solid for a home game at 3. Union Local looks to be a solid 4. The bottom 4 can go anyway right now. OH is in for sure. They have an easy game next week.
Re: DV R19
Oak Hill does appear in at #8, over Fairland, Peake, and Wellston. Getting propped up by that SOC1 league schedule.

Fairland needs OH or Ready to lose. If not they don’t get in even with a win Friday night.

Re: DV R19
They do play an 0-9 team but OH plays a DVII Green with 1 win. OH locks it in at 8 with Ready headed to West Portsmouth.
Re: DV R19
Yes thats where the and have help to get in comes into play...lol It doesn't look like its going to come from OH since Green had to forfeit. It would be awesome to get another team from Southern OH into the playoffs this year.Jolly P(irate) wrote: Tue Oct 24, 2017 11:47 pmFairland needs OH or Ready to lose. Ready has clinched a playoff spot.
Fairland has a 2% chance of playoffs even with a win. The only other schools who haven't clinched yet are Martins Ferry and Columbus Academy of which I suspect both will roll to easy wins.

Oak Hill and Green game will not be played. I have heard both that the game has been canceled and that with Green not being able to field a team that Oak Hill will get the win. Does anyone know if Oak Hill finishes the year at 7-2 or 8-2? Huge implications for playoffs in the difference in those records.

Should be an easy win. How Bexley went from 11-1 to 0-10 confounds me. I understand a talent drop off but wow.
Ready and Bexley play at Fortress Field tomorrow night

And a rendering of the outside of the stadium from last year (I don't believe its finished yet)

Pretty cool idea to use this stadium for a game for a school with the Silver Knights as the mascot

Re: DV R19
Assuming Wheelersburg defeats West it looks like we at least know that the #8 v #1 game is,
#8 Bishop Ready v #1 Wheelersburg
#8 Bishop Ready v #1 Wheelersburg
Re: DV R19
Looking at how the seeding is setting up so far it looks like Wheelersburg could have to play Ready, Academy and Johnstown to win the region. All of which have at least one win vs a stellar team this season. That’s a tough draw. If the Pirates can make it through those teams they will definitely be ready for whoever they meet beyond. Go Pirates.

I think west is the second best team in region. They were probably the most physical team I’ve seen in awhile

And probably one of the fastest. The middle D was quick to the ball. Those slip screens didn’t go for much.wobycat wrote: Sat Oct 28, 2017 8:51 am I think west is the second best team in region. They were probably the most physical team I’ve seen in awhile
