The odds are strongly against the Tigers and not too many people will give them a chance.
I remember a Waverly team, much like this one, going down to Cincy in 1989 to take on the #1 team in the State and not many people gave that Tiger team a chance.
You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. Go over to Valley View with a confidence you can do this. Play to the best of your ability and leave it all on the field. Tiger Nation will be there in force!!

Whatever the outcome, it is all good for the Tigers. An extra week of practice. Another opportunity to learn what it takes to achieve excellence by competing against excellence. Odds are that the game will be a "character" builder, but stranger things have happened. Go Tigers. That and prayers for no injuries.

A tuff match up for Waverly. However, playing Valley View again is not all bad. Valley View could overlook the Tigers. Waverly knows what Valley View is all about and will not be playing a team they have only seen on paper. Again up hill battle for Waverly but the most upsets are in the 1st round of playoffs.

Valley View is a very well coached and disciplined team as everyone found out last year when they came down to Waverly. They will in no way shape or form overlook Waverly as typically this is where GV finds themselves and that's playing in the playoffs. I wish Waverly all the luck in this one and represent SEO and congrats on making it to this point. However, GV takes this one and probably with a running clock as you can see from their scores their defense is very stout.

It will be a tall task for Waverly indeed, the Valley View running back is a stud no doubt about it. It looks like VV has given up some points to their better opponents (Wilmington, Bellbrook, Brookville) this year. I think the Waverly offense can score but we can have 0 turnovers and few mental mistakes and maybe a liitle luck. A tall task maybe, but not impossible.
