Just like with us I think they are just over matched. I don’t think that they will be able to move the ball against their defense, leaving them to make plays through the air in which they make too many mistakes causing costly turnovers. I also don’t think that they have the discipline on defense to play well enough against their potent running attack. I really hope I’m wrong, but that doesn’t happen often.

I dont think West will have a problem on offense, Defensively we have to play great defense and stop there run. Yes, west it out sized here but MF looks to be bigger then the jonnies so size i dont think will be a problem in this game. West- 24 Jonnies- 14 hopefully. West just needs to focus on JM. Play hard and play their game. Let the chips fall where they may.

They moved the ball pretty well on burg too. They can't execute when they get inside the 40 as he said. Play calling has really killed us in the redzoneJolly P(irate) wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2017 8:38 amNot every team.Sportsfan_guy_74 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2017 8:26 amWest has moved the ball on every team this year! they just havent executed when they get inside the 40Da_Burg wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2017 5:50 pm Look I’m a realist and even though I’m pulling for West to win, realistically I don’t see them beating the Johnnies.

Playcalling has been greatly effected by the loss of #30. He is probably a top 5 player in the area on both sides. Not only a runner with speed but an excellent blocker.Jolly(senator wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2017 9:00 amThey moved the ball pretty well on burg too. 35 yard pass when the qb was out of bounds.. and 75 yards on one play.. I wouldn’t exactly call that moving the football. But again.. west fans don’t like facts... good luck this week west..

All joking aside, there is a decent point there. 254 yards is fairly average for a high school game. Whether you want to believe it or not, they DID move the football down the field some. However, they just couldn't convert past the 40-yard line. I believe they had five or six turnovers on downs on Wheelersburg's side of the field.
If West can avoid stalling out in the opponent's territory and get at least 3 points off of those drives, there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to win this game.

Re: #3 Johnstown Monroe vs. #2West
What ever happens this week or next don't really matter. I would love to see West win though. West has had a good season, better then a lot expected. I truly believe coach Johnson and staff has West heading in the right direction. They work extremely hard and play extremely hard. Hardly ever see stupid personnel fouls or unsportsman like penalties. I believe the future looks bright for West football. Give them a few years with Trevon working their hind ends off and I think you will see a big difference. With that being said, go West play hard leave it all on the field and we will see what happens come friday.
