Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson
Just Curious, Where can one look at the stats for tackles of every kid in the state or country? I would like to look at that but not sure how to find it!VisionQuest wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2017 2:15 pmI have to wonder what Criteria they are using. Ronnie Wend is 2nd in the NATION IN TACKLES...I mean the games I have been too his name is Called on almost every defensive play. How does he not get Defensive Player of The Year?!?...Not to take anything away from the Baldwin kid. But Come On now

Maxpreps, they have a stat leaders page and you can filter a lot of information.sum_it_up89 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 7:30 amJust Curious, Where can one look at the stats for tackles of every kid in the state or country? Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson
With 12 wins, the Buckeyes have only won more games in their 1981 State Championship Season when they went 13-0. Keep in mind that the playoffs have expanded since that time, so more games are played now. The 1982 State Semifinals team went 11-1. The 1994 Regional Runner-Up team went 11-1. The 1997 Regional Runner-Up team went 11-1. The 1998 Regional Runner-Up team went 9-3.
Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson
One thing I have not heard is a little advantage for NY having played at Jackson last year. Every stadium is the same field but different atmosphere. When was last time CG played there. Just curious.

Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson
The Buckeyes and Hornets do not share any common opponents. This is the closest common opponent I could come up with: Coal Grove beat Shenandoah 7-6. Fort Frye beat Shenandoah 26-8. NY beat Fort Frye 26-20.

Don't rely on Maxpreps for statewide stats leaders. A lot of schools don't report stats on it.NY BUCK wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 8:25 amMaxpreps, they have a stat leaders page and you can filter a lot of information.sum_it_up89 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2017 7:30 amJust Curious, Where can one look at the stats for tackles of every kid in the state or country? Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson
I would have to respectfully disagree. Any chance a team would have as to play on same field more than once would b some advantage. Now I do understand it has been a year but all the seniors have been there before. That being said I don't think location makes a difference in this game. NY 27. And yes it is a big nice stadium.
Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson
Yea I am not believing in the "NY will have an advantage because we have played there" - all my son remembers is a nice field on top of a hill

Hope Athens County brings a huge crowd for the Buckeyes on Friday night, as I’m sure they will! Much better weather than last week also. Go bucks!
