Parkersburg Catholic is not a patsy and Hannah and West Union give the Bobcats opponents they have a numerical chance against. Green simply has too few players to navigate the schedule they have.

I know most won't believe this, but AD do try and put together a schedule where they can possibly win a couple games. They know what the rest of the schedule might look like so why sign up for a guaranteed smack down for 10 games?? Hanna drive is little over an hour, now Parkersburg little over 2 I think is pushing it. Then again we don't know who all they contacted and what teams in their area within hr to hour and a half are considered winnable for them or competitive?? Won't be shocked to see, Peebles and possibly North Adams on their schedule as well since they are starting up football.

West Union is working towards being a legit team and no longer a club team, I think with green playoffs isn't even an option to consider. Building numbers and trying to reestablish a program is 1st and foremost maybe if they can do that by that time those teams won't be club anymore. You look at the past few years and especially this year for green and if finding teams that will give you playoff points is your 1st priority you just need to walk away because at that point you are not helping that program AT all.

Green isn't even playoff eligible due to being unable to field a team to finish the season. Remember Green played the last 5 games of their season with only 13 kids. Sometimes 12 and it eventually became too much and they unfortunately had to cancel on Oak Hill.

There's been some restructuring in the Coaching staff, several freshmen coming in and some of the GOOD athletes people remember Green having at the Jr High and peewee levels the past few years are returning to play.. possibly lol.

Either way who cares if Green is playing club or start up teams. Other schools get to "step down" from the Conference they are in to rebuild and come to the SOC1.
If Green and Notre Dame need to drive 2 hours to find a similarly skilled opponent and hopefully beat, get purple excited and help their program. So be it.
