I was glad to see Eastern start their program the way they did. Starting with the younger players and working up to varsity. I agree, they are making nice progress.greygoose wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 2:08 pmDon't be surprised if Beaver Eastern pushes Oak Hill in 2018. Game this year was close at halftime and the Oak Hill numbers just wore Eastern down in the 2nd half.Proud_Pirate63 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2017 9:20 pm SOC II. Wheelersburg
SOC I. Oak Hill(last year in SOC I before moving up to SOC II for 2019 season)

Wonder who might win the SOC 2....Burg seems to struggle after having a good season....
Re: Who will win your League next year???
Because it's a factual statement. The first game is many months away. I will let them win it on the field.

I don't have a dog in the fight but when you are referencing games not counting for 2018, I have to question that a bit. When teams return players that started or played significant playing time the previous season it counts drastically towards the success of a team the following year. I mean you know exactly what you have in those players and they can only improve come the following season. If you are only returning 4-5 guys with playing time then a team might struggle early until they find their footing. Obviously it doesn't mean a team will go 10-0 the next year but those games absolutely count as a boost to the following year.

Yep. It's why I picked them as the favorite to win their league.greygoose wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 3:59 pmI don't have a dog in the fight but when you are referencing games not counting for 2018, I have to question that a bit. Same was said about Fort Frye last year.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 12:18 pmShenandoah returns Boone Jones QB and WR/RB Sherman but they lost way to many Srs to compete with Fort Frye.
But I agree, Cadets should win the PVC.

Going into last offseason I personally considered Zeps a huge favorite.FortheWin wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 9:49 pmSame was said about Fort Frye last year.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 12:18 pmShenandoah returns Boone Jones QB and WR/RB Sherman but they lost way to many Srs to compete with Fort Frye.

High school players come and go. It's largely about the coaches. The guy at Shenandoah did a good job at Meadowbrook before taking over Shenandoah. I think you can probably pencil them in to compete with Fort Frye for as long as they want.

Most people's guesses for the hocking have either been Trimble or Miller the past two years mostly Trimble but for the past two years I believe that Waterford has won all but one of its conference by 2 scores or greater wonder when they will be not considered as an underdog but I'm sure Trimble will still be the favorites and just maybe Miller will have another average season good luck to all hocking teams all ready looking forward to Friday nights

It will be a good game between 2018 Tomcats and the 2018 Wildcats. Both teams returning a lot of key players.

I believe that Waterford has begun a new dynasty. But trimble will try to give them a run for their money...Raider6309 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2018 8:52 pm TVC Ohio Athens or NY. Wellston could be right there too.
