Private schools can lose a bunch - but mysteriously have a new bunch the following year. Harvest Prep beat Bexley last night, a Columbus school about the size of Athens, 31-32.

Bexley hasn't been good in a few years
Come on 93. Join the Cats wagon this yr along with Athens because you know when its all said and done the Cats are gong to be deep in playoffs in this area

Where are all the NY fans that were predicting a blowout in their favor? Aweful quiet, think they realized the juice isn't as sweet as they originally thought
Yeah O&B would have been the first person on here to run his mouth if NY would have won. I suspect he is probably scanning this thread right now trying to find a reason to shut it down.
Like said a few weeks ago and got bashed.Stop number 3 and you win.Trimble had the over all better team like I said.NY may have had the best player but their is no I in team.Wish them luck rest of the year.Hopefully they can get the young man some help so he doesn't get hurt when they play bigger teams.

haha I'd like nothing more than to see the 'Cats go far in the playoffs. But one reason the 2013 Tomcats kept getting better was because of all the chatter about how Austin Dorris was the real deal and how Shadyside and Steuby Central were the class of the region. You don't want to be talking like Trimble is all alone at the top, especially after just one game ... Lucas is good, Danville will get it back together late in the year - they always do, Harvest Prep probably still has athletes, Waterford won't roll over and play dead ... Cats gotta keep on working hard and improving!

I cant help but wonder after watching athens and trimble play each other what might happen week 10
I said we felt good only 13 to 7 for a half.Athens is a D3 school average 280 on the line.NY will get better by week 10 but so will Athens.Could be a running clock with their spread offensive.

Everyone on here from Trimble says stop Wilburn and Trimble will win the game!! That is an excellent plan folks imo!! The only thing I have to say about your plan is “GOOD LUCK WITH THAT” Lmao looks like that plan worked
I’ll still stick to my guns and say NY is not good right now, Glouster is ok, hell it took them 2.5 quarters to score on NY. Yet they are great? Get the hell out of here. And maybe the Dogs will put up a running clock on NY. Sure hope so.
I did like Faires BS onside kick. Typical Glouster.

BS like Nelsonville going for 2 last year and their Jr high throwing td passes up 46-0 with a minute left the other day? What comes around goes around

I am a Tomcat all the way, and there's nothing better than beating the Buckeyes. But let me tell you what I saw last night. I saw a young man come into a season opener with as much hype as I can remember. From the opening kick to the final second, not much went right for him or his team. It had to be incredibly frustrating and disappointing to say the least. But through it all, and even after the game, he reacted with nothing but class and humility. Congratulations Keegan Wilburn on being a great young man. You can play on my team any time. Having said that....Go Cats!
