Regions 15, 19, 20, 23
Regions 15, 19, 20, 23
Who’s your picks to win these regions? Dark horses? Cinderella’s?
I have St. Clairsville in R15 but watch out for Fairland and John Glenn
R19: a toss up. Too heavy Region with Amanda Clearcreek, Johnstown Monroe, Meadowbrook, and Ferry. My pick is JM
R20: Besides the Burg, Purcell Marian will be big players in this region. Minford and West are also in this region and will look to advance. My sleeper pick to at least make it to week 12 is Clermont NE. But I have the Burg winning the region
R23: Grandview Heights should take this one. Two running-clock shutouts in their first two games

Region 20: Middletown Madison will be the biggest test for Wheelersburg in this region. They return the majority of last year's state semifinal team, with dominant offensive and defensive lines. Also returning a 2,000 yard RB. Tough sledding for Burg to get out of the region.
Re: Regions 15, 19, 20, 23
Dspy I honestly forgot Fort was in that region. If that matchup happens it’s up to the defense to stop that Grandview offense

Brutal region. I’ll be following Madison’s game with Valley View this week. Looking at their remaining schedule that could be their toughest testspider2Ybanana wrote: Wed Sep 05, 2018 5:00 pm Region 20: Middletown Madison will be the biggest test for Wheelersburg in this region. Madison will most likely go 10-0 if they get past Valley View this week (which I think they will). Wheelersburg will still have a chance to get the #1 seed if they go 9-1, but at 8-2 were looking at #2-3 seed.

Clermont NE beat a bad Eastern team 14-0. No way they are a threat to win a game in region 20.The Flash wrote: Wed Sep 05, 2018 4:45 pm Who’s your picks to win these regions? Dark horses? Cinderella’s?

I’ll save my judgment until after the game against Hillsboro. I’m sure my picks will change hundred times before Week 11Crab's Brother wrote: Wed Sep 05, 2018 5:08 pmClermont NE beat a bad Eastern team 14-0. Fort Frye could of ran up score in both 1st 2 games but respected both schools. It was running clock at half vs Northridge and close to it @Belpre.
Re: Regions 15, 19, 20, 23
In terms of Region 23 Grandview Hts has gotten off to a good start. I have mentioned Grandview Hts has 7 winnable games on the schedule. Whitehall, London and Columbus Academy are going to be very tuff games for the Bobcats. So, finishing 7-3 will get the Bobcats in the playoffs but by no means is Region 23 Grandview Hts' to lose. If Grandview Hts stays injury free they will be a force come playoff time but that is 9 weeks away. Injuries could make Grandview Hts chances making the playoffs very tough. The Bobcats have 32 kids on its roster.

Don’t sleep on CHCA in 20. They have a couple of studs who have moved into the district and once they get on the same page, their offense should be tough to handle. Although, I have heard not so great things about how their line looked in the preseason. Excited to watch them at Trimble in a couple weeks.

Agree as I predicted this on another thread. Should be an exciting game.spider2Ybanana wrote: Wed Sep 05, 2018 5:00 pm Region 20: Middletown Madison will be the biggest test for Wheelersburg in this region.
