What scares me about this game is that If Gallia and Jackson both bring it. This won’t be a injury free game. Gallia I really only thought hit hard against one opponent last year and that was Portsmouth. And both teams really brought it that night and there were injuries everywhere. Hopthat not the case but I think it is just going to be a knock down drag out fight...

No matter the outcome.

I worry about giving up a big play on kick/punt coverage, we have been blessed to have a run of kickers that could put it into the end zone for a touch back for several years now. This year that is a little different for us. Sounds like Gallia has some kids that can make a return exciting.

Jackson is fundamental in their technique and always physical at the ball offensively and defensively. Over the course of the game that typically works in our favor.

This will be the most physical game Gallia Academy plays all year . The always hard nosed Jackson Ironmen battle old seoal hated rival Gallia Academy Blue Devils. This is like an seoal matchup from yesteryear. Gallia Academy is a proud program who for years and years was no ones cupcake. Coach Penrod has restilled that pride in the program. Can the blue devils come into enemy territory and upset the Always tough Jackson Ironmen. This is Jackson’s home opener and they will be looking to finish a scrap that was started at the passing scrimmage . This time it won’t be touch football. This will be absolutely electric as both programs fan bases expect a win. Good luck to all involved. I predict a lot of extra curricular , some pushing , shoving and jawing. Probably be a few personal fouls.

You guys are giving Gallia academy’s defense way too much credit. Gallia s defense has not been good. On the turf at home Jackson scores at least 28 points here. Gallia offensive schemes and talent will allow them to move the ball against Jackson. The difference here is Jackson will be talented enough to limit blue devils big plays. I think the blue devils special teams and defense either gives them very short fields or scores 3 times. The blue devils will brake 5 or 6 big plays against most opponents on schedule against Jackson’s talent they’ve ill probably be 40 yard gains. Jackson wins by a little or a lot but Jackson will put up several points.

Jackson didn’t have much to offer against Gallia in the 7 on 7. I think they can load the box and still stop a lot of Jackson’s little passing plays. Jackson had big runs from the Vinton kids according to the stats I saw on Twitter. GA has the speed to keep that from happening. Attempted catches over the middle will be destroyed. I really really like GA’s chances the more I think about it. Jackson doesn’t have enough speed to break anything offensively (at least against a real defense)

Who cares about 7 on 7, it only matters when they strap on the pads. Plus that was 2 months ago in July. A lot has changed since then. It’s time to strap those helmets and pads on tighter tonight boys.
