They're supposed to play Wahama next week who hasn't scored a point all year and almost disbanded the football program this year for lack of kids. They have maybe 21 bodies now but are in dire straits also and they won WV state championship just 6 short years ago and have 2 state baseball titles since then also. The kids just don't want to play sports anymore.

It is homecoming for them. I imagine they would do everything possible to keep that. Just so happens it’s vs wahama who is winless. Just my thoughts.

Fort Frye is locked in the playoffs and probably the best team in region 23. I'm sure they would like to play the game to work on plays and let the underclassmen get some PT under the lights

They graduate around 40 kids nowadays. It's been steadily declining numbers since the 70's when it was common to have 100-125 in each graduating class. Since then there have been many jobs lost (Goodyear, Pantasote, Malleable Iron, Kaiser , Phillip Sporn, etc.) and numbers have finally caught up with the area. The area still has a lot of 50-70 year olds but their kids aren't having big families like they used to and more of those kids are going off to college or leaving the area and not returning for lack of job prospects. This is what I've seen over the years as I'm one of those people that left years ago and know many others from the area that have done the same.

The only cost is the gate that the home team loses. Federal Hocking does not put the young kids in jeopardy of injuries in playing in a game they are drastically over matched. Fort Fry wins because not playing the game actually helps there standing in the computer because their divisor is 9. FF comes out ahead because FH at the best would be 1-9.

Seriously folks,tell the A.D.at Federal Hocking to do the kids and fans a favor and schedule Frontier.
Both schools in similar situations with depth on the roster. Not a bad drive either.
