Re: Week 4: Gallia Academy @ Chesapeake
After watching Gallia Academy last week I wouldn't be surprised if they put a running clock on Chesapeake.
Re: Week 4: Gallia Academy @ Chesapeake
I first said that they would have to get over the tough loss with Jackson last week. Even though Chesapeake is at home. and Gallipolis might start out a little slow. I think they have to much talent all around for the Peake.svac83 wrote: Tue Sep 11, 2018 1:31 pm I think they bounce back here. But I really think they will find it hard to not come out flat after last week. Probably still at least a two score game but won’t be surprised if close for quite a while.
No one is looking ahead but this is game sandwiched between Jackson and then you have Portsmouth fairyland and coal grove to follow.
Gallia handles business after slow start.

Ironton will beat Gallipolis and Fairland (passing game) & Coal Grove have a good chance. There is the game with Portsmouth if Parker would get loose a few times you never know but they'll probably load the box since Trojans don't have a lot of help on the line right now. I predict a 7-3 season for the devils.Mike wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 4:35 pmWith who they play, they should have no difficulties.svac83 wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 4:30 pmGallipolis is improved but they by know means are good enough to go through the rest of schedule on cruise control.Mike wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 2:16 pm Gallipolis is improved over the last several years and will win out unless they don’t show up for a game. After Jackson, their schedule requires only sitting on cruise control.

I still think the Blue should be disappointed with anything less than 9-1, hosting in week 11

8-2 at best, 7-3 is more realistic.
I don’t see them beating ironton or grove.
Depending on what Portsmouth team shows up they could lose that one too.
They can’t overlook the Dragons either.

I thnk Gallia has a shot at 9-1 but they will not be the most talented team on the field in several of those matchups.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: Fri Sep 14, 2018 4:12 am I still think the Blue should be disappointed with anything less than 9-1, hosting in week 11
I dont know if they win 9 or not i think gallia will be disappointed if they are not at least alive for league title in week 9 and dont qualify for playoffs. they were a 5-5 team last year that could of easily been 3-7. i think a playoff spot and vying for a league championship would be very successful year.

Not sure on box score. But it was a closer game early on. GA opened things up as the game went on.
