They've lost 3 games to 3 schools that are a combined 10-2. All have been competitive also, 5, 7 and 14 point games

Not sure why rock hill didn’t throw more. They did pretty good when they did. Would of been closer. Parker was just on fire last night and ran really well.

That’s for sure. Ironton was the same way. But if you see it having success I would think you make a adjustment. Oh well. We won a good ball game.osumufan wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 8:21 pmCause its not in a Lutz's blood to pass!Beergogglebluez wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:06 pm Not sure why rock hill didn’t throw more. So does anyone on here know how Parker is academically? His athletic ability is obviously next level.

Re: Portsmouth 28 Rock Hill 14
Well wise a$$, it doesn’t matter if Parker runs for 500yds a game if he doesn’t have the grades and the minimum ACT score to play in college. If he doesn’t, he can sit around and talk about how good he was in high school because that is where his playing days will end. Personally, I hope he does have the grades and does well on the ACT so he can take his talents to the next level.sportsjunky22 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 9:15 am Not sure, but this is a sports forum not an academic forum.

Leave it up to someone from BURG to put a comment on here like that! Have you asked about how any other athletes were academically? I don't think so. Maybe he has good grades, maybe he doesn't but no need to ask on here.

You must have peaked in high school with that mentality. Like my comments or not, that is the reality that ANY athlete faces if they want to play ANY sport beyond high school. As previously stated, I hope he does have the grades so he has the opportunity to be successful in college as well as in life.

Trust me, I could careless about what I do in high school. I'm not like a lot of people around here who beat their chest due to what they did in high school. All I said was this is a sports forum not an academic forum. I just felt like it was a jab at him because his father was a STUD running back and didn't go anywhere do his academics.

Yeah...not a jab, just a question. No disrespect but I don’t really care who his father is or what his achievements were. Yes this is a sports forum but academics go hand in hand with that as well.sportsjunky22 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 12:21 pm Trust me, I could careless about what I do in high school. I just think it's funny how you commented on this particular thread about a kids academics, when there are other athletes in which you have not asked this question about. You've made your point and I've made mine so I'm done.

Kinda weird asking about a Portsmouth player on a Portsmouth thread. You are reading way too much into my original question. Have a good day.sportsjunky22 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 1:36 pm I just think it's funny how you commented on this particular thread about a kids academics, when there are other athletes in which you have not asked this question about.
