I did not think they could score 35 pts against Coal Grove. I had been told by someone who saw them play Oak Hill, that the Peake was really down this year. I was really wrong,I give Chesapeake a lot of credit.

Honestly this was a different Peake team! Some personnel movements and using The playbook being used differently paid dividends for the Panthers! The Hornets were very undisciplined and had many self inflicted gun shot wounds but the Panthers played extremely well!!! Really hope they can build on this! GO Peake!!

Hate to say this but our defense has been suspect all season.

We played a bad River Valley team week one.
Week two gave up 20 to Lucasville in one half. Probably s hi old have lost that one, Valley just wasn't able to finish.
Week three we played one half of great defense against West before losing that game.
Week four gave up 14 point in the first half to South Point before coming out and shutting them down in the second half.

We want able to tackle tonight and all the stupid personal foul flags. I watched all of them, they were all legit and personally I would have pulled that kid after the second flag.

If we cant stop the run then the next dew weeks will be hard to watch for the Grove.

Went away from the passing game tonight only threw 2 passes all night made it tough on the run game ? Too many self inflicted penalties in big spots. Better get it figured out in a hurry.

I said in another thread CG hasn't done anything and lost a lot from last year. Just have had a favorable schedule and it's not as if Peake was a huge upgrade. OVC comes down to Gallia and ironton.

Cant believe the Grove lost the Little Brown Jug to this Peake team. Last years charmed season seems like a long time ago doesn't it?
