Huge PVC implications both teams (2-0) in league.

Caldwell has not beat Fort Frye since 2014.

This one is likely gonna get ugly. Caldwell lacks offensive line play and defensive secondary. However, they do have a few solid Rb.

I have gotten to watch Fort Frye twice now. The kids up front can play football, but they're smaller than the last couple of years. Barnesville has a little bit of balance and put 20 points up. A good power game will create real problems for The Cadets.

That was such a decieving 20 points. One was a Kick Return and big run for 66 yards. Hannahs had a 66 yard run and still only ran for 73 yards on 9 carries. Barnesville did ok in the passing game 7-21 110 yards 1 Td 3 Ints. After the 14-0 start scoring on the first 2 plays they didn’t to much being out gained 465-202 for the game. Barnesville is not a bad team losing to Steubenville Cath 28-20 and Meadowbrook 26-7 they have played a good schedule way better then 2-5 and Fort gave them most lopsided lose of the year.

Fort Frye goes to 7-0 and will control their own destiny for the post season.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

20 points is not deceiving. It's what they got. Barnesville only ran 6-8 different plays.

Fort Frye's offense was kind of an all or nothing proposition, too. You can't call one a fluke without the other being a fluke, too.

Nothing wrong with victory over Barnesville....they are not a bad team, as others have noted, record is deceiving....looks like in box score that their QB (Dowler) did not play?? Perhaps that explains "only 6 or 8 plays" if they had to tone down the playbook with backup QB????

This week: Fort over Caldwell by 20+. Too many weapons for Fort. Contain Ivey and put pressure on Caldwell's QB.

Why I called it deceiving is because the Rocks changed what they do completely and Fort was not ready for it. Previously Barnesville was running mostly shotgun with Dowler at QB. This game they tried to line it up and pound it. They had 1 good run all night after that they had avg like 1 yard a carry. So basically after the 1 run and kick return they could barely do anything. Once adjustments were made it was 42-6 the rest of the way. Fort dominated this game after 1st QT. If they would of been successful in the redzone in the first half and caught the wide open TD at the end it could of been real ugly. Like I said Barnesville has a great defense had not allowed more then 28 all year and Fort put up 42 so I’ll take it. On to week 8.

Meh. I'm just nitpicking to liven up the middle of this schedule.

So, this is the interesting part of the schedule. The Cadets will be working their way through Noble County, starting with the Mighty Redskins of Caldwell. They have no impressive wins, but a winning record is a winning record. They must be doing some things right.

Fort big, hoping Caldwell keeps it closer than expected. Looks like Caldwell is going to finish 5-5 if I were a betting man. Oh well, at least our cross country team is still solid, went up and watched them win the ovac for the first time since my son graduated a few years ago. Fort also won an ovac cross title Saturday, they're good at everything these days
