Re: Region 23
PV is lucky to be in the weakest region of D6, none of those teams in the top 10 are very powerful. No Marion locals, Coldwaters, Kirtlands to deal with till the final 4, the top teams of R23 appear to be pretty evenly matched and should make for an interesting week 11 & 12.

Re: Region 23
Agreed it’s by far the weakest region. I still think Fort is a slight favorite considering what they return from last year teams. They’ve been ahead so much that playmakers not getting many reps.Slappy wrote: Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:34 am PV is lucky to be in the weakest region of D6, none of those teams in the top 10 are very powerful. Re: Region 23
Did FF have an off game wk 3 when they barely beat D7 (4-2) Waterford 22-20 ? not trying to argue because everybody has an occasional lackluster win but just wondering .EasternDspy wrote: Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:43 amAgreed it’s by far the weakest region. Huge rivalry game that game is close almost every year. Fort won 23-19 last year and still almost beat Nelsonville last year in playoffs. Throw the records out in that one. Waterford played a lot better in that one then they did last night.

Re: Region 23
PV would be in a dogfight with Fairbanks. Fairbanks is a lot tougher than they look on the computer screen. Their QB was out until week four with an injury, but he’s very good. They just beat West Jefferson solidly.Slappy wrote: Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:34 am PV is lucky to be in the weakest region of D6, none of those teams in the top 10 are very powerful. Those who have not watched PV play this season, really should think before they speak.
Yes, as it is most of the time the region is weak.

Re: Region 23
Actually they have beaten two schools with winning records.
I can remember on here how most posters called them the overwhelming underdog against Wellston, a team they dominated.
They have 6-1 Southeastern on the road this week, a team that blew Paint Valley out last year. After they win that game, maybe some will see that I am correct on this.(LOL)
