Meigs 28 Wellston 26
Meigs 28 Wellston 26
Opinions? Should be a little bit more competitive game for both teams this week. Wellston just hasn’t figured it out Playcalling wise on offense. If meigs stuffs the box and can tackle I see them taking this one by a TD. If not Wellston should pick up the win. Also, I think Wellston’s defense has taken a step back from the beginning of the season, be interesting to see what they do this week.
Re: Week 9: Wellston @ Meigs
If Wellston stays in that tight formation and tries to pound it right at Meigs with no imagination or play action it will be a long night for the Rockets. The defense will not hold Meigs under 30 in my opinion.

Meigs defense is non existent, giving up up 38 ppg.
It's a pick'em

This game will come down to who can play defense in the second half.
I've seen both teams.
Meigs has the edge with a good QB, Wellston has a good Oline and a good running game.
I'm going with Wellston by 1 point.

I think im going to go with the rockets in this one. I mean their running back is stellar, he has shifty feet and can run through a brick wall.

We used to have a coach who could get players to run through a brick wall. All I can say is they better stock up the concession stand cuz those rocket moms are coming to town and they are hungry for a victory and a few cheeseburgers. I predict a sellout. Meigs boosters might consider offering cheesecake bites this week. Could be a lucrative evening.
My prediction
Wellston 37
Meigs 36
and a new record for cheeseburgers consumed
