For all you vintoncounty fans out there. Does the 92 team go down as one of the best ever at Vinton county. Just asking because I remember the game against ironton at Portsmouth that year and I thought they were outstanding

Yes, they will need a little help to get in.
But as we've been saying every week for almost 3 seasons.....
Let's go 1-0 this week men!

Do they give bonus points if a team gets a running clock? Seems like this could be a good tiebreaker. Sort of like riding time in Wrestling. The more running clock you have the better.

This is the best idea that a mayor from Jackson has ever proposed on here lol. Much better than begging the TVC to take in Jackson. Anywho.........I never thought about it like that but using running clock time seems like an obvious tiebreaker to me. Someone needs to petition the OHSAA and get this thing going.

That’s was the 93 team. They went 9-1 losing to Nelsonville York in regular season. They beat Sheridan in round 1 , lost to Ironton in OT at spartan stadium in round 2. Ironton rolled Germantown valley view in 3rd round and lost to wauseon by a field goal in state championship game . If VC would’ve survived the Ironton game they would’ve had a great shot at a state title. The 91 Vikings went 10-0 but failed to make the playoffs . So it’s between 91 and 93 teams

Thank you Poo. I always refer to it as 1992 because that was the football season of 92 but graduating class of 93 That Ironton team probably is considered one of the top five or six all time at Ironton There were a lot of us ironton fans that were not expecting anywhere near that close of a game , that was just an outstanding Vinton County football team

This is the longest/oldest TVC rivalry in the history of the conference. VC has played Ny every year of their existence minus the first season (and the strike year).

It is always hard to play at VC. It could be a close game.

Wow! You may be right, but I think if VC shows up to play, this could turn out to be one heck of a ballgame.

VC always plays NY tough, despite some of the scores. Most are second half pull aways. I would like to see us win big but I see the bucks winning in a close one, setting up the week 10 showdown.
