I really think this might be the funniest post I’ve seen! The pogo sticks had me LOLRosco wrote: Wed Oct 17, 2018 10:57 pmFANOSPORTS wrote: Wed Oct 17, 2018 10:44 pmGallipolis pulling out all the stops. A little birdie flew up here to Columbus tonight and told me that the Blue Devils were practicing on the turf @ Oak Hill high school. Hmmmm !!!!!
Well the same birdie told a flying squirrel that told Gridiron Goober that the Devils used left handed footballs at that practice, with their shoes on the wrong feet while going into a 30 mph head wind they had piped in special from Florida. For good measure they also practiced in the dark in case the lights go out at Tanks Stadium. For good luck they are leaving at noon on Friday on pogo sticks to get loose.
They have thought of it all!

I have watched film and watched both teams live so on that alone I will give Ironton the nod. Taking into the fact that it is at Tanks and Senior Night I will go out on a limb and say Ironton by 10 or more. The Boys in Blue will have a demeanor to match their uniforms when the final whistle blows.

At different points in life I have been all the above, but at present just a fan and teacher.

Why did it take a little birdie to tell you. It was posted on the blue devil Facebook page last night. Thanking oak hill for the use of the field.FANOSPORTS wrote: Wed Oct 17, 2018 10:44 pmGallipolis pulling out all the stops. Mblue devils are 3-1 on turf already this year. Maybe they have something a little special planned for Friday night
Re: WK #9 GALLIPOLIS (7-1) @ IRONTON (6-2)
The Blue Devils will come to play tomorrow night. Put your 11 out there against their 11 and let the boys play it out. Lets hope for a good, clean, injury free game on both sides!
Go Blue!

These Devils have battled from the depths of hell. I don't think a couple ghosts are gonna scare them!Fan Friday wrote: Thu Oct 18, 2018 1:38 amHahaha they don’t need any help!svac83 wrote: Thu Oct 18, 2018 1:13 am When they put turf down. I'm not favoring either team, as I think its going to be one heck of a ballgame.FANOSPORTS wrote: Thu Oct 18, 2018 10:42 pmI think the Gallipolis "4 headed monster" of skilled players will be turned into "Puff the Magic Dragon" by games end.
I will say though, that I think your post is going to be very hard to beat. Lol

Big game between two ancient rivals!
Big chance for Gallipolis to exercise some demons and slay their old nemesis.
Big chance for Ironton to announce themselves back onto the Championship stage.
Can only imagine the excitement in both towns. The boys in blue need to ignore their fathers and grandfathers "advice" about the dangers of "the Tank". Ironton needs to harness that history.
Wish I could be there.
