Fairland 30 Chesapeake 26
Battle for the Joe Smith Helmet! A lot to play for in this game! Whoever wins has a shot to sneak in to the playoffs! Chesapeake is battling a lot of injuries and Fairland just waxed Coal Grove! This is the Game of the Week in my Opinion! Would love to see a huge crowd Pack Phil Davis Field for this one!

Unofficially fairland sits at the #7 seed in Region 15 at this point, and Chesapeake sits at the #9 seed in Region 19. Fairland wins and they are in, if they lose they are out. Chesapeake wins they still need a Martins Ferry loss to grab the 8 seed! This is the first time in a while that this much was on the line in this match up!

Tigers of Waverly need the Dragons to pull this one out.

Lambiotte throws for 300 to lead the dragons to a win.
Re: Week 10: Fairland (5-4) @ Chesapeake (5-4)
I agree that Lambiotte throws for a lot of yards, but when Chesapeake is clicking they can put up quite a few points. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a pretty high scoring game by both teams.

I think fairland wins this. Peake can run the ball and fairland runs defense is not very good. Lambiotte will have a good night.

Panthers are one of the few teams that can match the Dragons speed. Dragons are not disciplined on defense but they make enough big plays to pull this one out 35-28

Re: WK10: Fairland (5-4) @ Chesapeake (5-4)
Chesapeake matched Portsmouth speed. I was quite impressed with the panthers. Couple turnovers in the 4th quarter was the dagger but at one point peake had the lead. Not sure what peake has coming back, if it’s a lot they may turn heads next year.Firebreather wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 1:51 pm Panthers are one of the few teams that can match the Dragons speed. Chesapeake loses, QB, both middle linebackers and 2 offensive lineman! Chesapeake should battle for the conference next year IMO!
Re: WK10: Fairland (5-4) @ Chesapeake (5-4)
Evenly marched I think, chesapeake's speed and fairland's lambiotte. Gonna say dragons in a tight one.

Very true. Rain takes away fairlands passing game. And peakes strength is the run.

Most games I would agree with you when saying that the rain will have a big effect on the passing game, and it very well may. Unless its just a downpour, that's what Fairland does best and I would think they would still try to throw the ball all over the field. I also know that Chesapeake is very capable of lighting up the scoreboard. Rain or not, I still look for a very good high scoring game.Hope both teams have an injury free game.Beergogglebluez wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 2:43 pmVery true. Rain takes away fairlands passing game.
