Bishop Hartley 51 Athens 14 Round 1 Region 11 2018

Post by FANOSPORTS »

TVC Ohio kingpin Athens makes the hour plus trip up Rt. 33 and has what feels like a 4 hour trip back after the clock strikes 0:00 in this one.

I wish Athens well, but I don't think it is going to go well.

Yeah, this one will more than likely be a beat down.

Running clock should be the case in this one, but I want Athens to pull of the shocker of 2018.

Nope. Sorry dude. Athens still the big fish in this one. Hartley only has 207 boys, bout the same exact size as Alexander.
Since enrollment means everything, Athens should win by 3 or 4 TD's.

If the Bulldogs has its passing game going they just might win this one.

Tough game for Athens. But anything can happen. Hartley takes it and I hope I’m wrong.

Something seems to have happened to Hartley after the loss to Clinton-Massie. They have not looked like themselves since. Barely beat St. Charles and DeSales in their last few games.

Hartley beat Burg by 31 points and lost to Clinton Massie by a field goal. The Dogs are in deep water!

Athens has a pretty good run defense with a very big offensive and defensive line. Comes down to can Athens offense run the ball on Hartley to keep Hartley from wearing Athens defense down

Sure for the small TVC schools. Now you have to play with the big boys.
