Where'd you get your numbers at, the ones I seen for 2018-2019 are a few kids off in terms of divisional breakdown??allamericanironman wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:17 am Look at this the third colum is # of teams per division. What do you all think is the reason for this?

why the need to have 4 less teams than D4 and 6 less teams than D-6 and 11 less teams than D7
VI 114-162 110
VII 113 and less
Is this just a fluke? You don’t think they make sure Jackson stays D3 too just to get those points. I don’t think this is a fluke. Who were the teams that shoul be in d5 with a even 108 count? Seems like our enrollment determines d3!

There is that March deadline but these were the most recent I found. We will know more the 5th of March.greygoose wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:23 amWhere'd you get your numbers at, the ones I seen for 2018-2019 are a few kids off in terms of divisional breakdown??allamericanironman wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:17 am Look at this the third colum is # of teams per division. See I thought mine were the most recent because it said 2018-2019 season, like you said we'll find out soon enough.allamericanironman wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:47 amThere is that March deadline but these were the most recent I found. Not to mention goliath marion localgreygoose wrote: Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:20 amI thought the same thing their numbers were a D6, but if CB hasn't been factored in then I can see why they'll remain a DV. It doesn't even look like it'll be close in terms of them being DV though because so many were trying to say they were jumping to DIV.Mad-Dogg wrote: Sun Feb 24, 2019 10:43 pmIf the alignment is anything like the previous then burg will be in D6Raider6309 wrote: Sun Feb 24, 2019 1:31 pm Burg looks like they will stay D5 at 158
Trimble is on the bubble of being D6 at 113 which might be a blessing because Marion Local might be D7 at 109

If this is correct then Trimble would go to DVII but like some said they haven't figured in CB. However when I look at the page and the way I read it is those are the numbers because it's telling schools they have till march 5 to appeal if they'd like to. So I'm actually wondering if those are indeed the numbers and if so did Burg just drop to DVI by 2 boys?? There's a nice team called Coldwater that is down there if so![]()

Here’s a look at SOC 2
Waverly 242
West 190
Minford 179
Oak Hill 162
Burg 158
Valley 116
It’s hard to believe that Valley is that much smaller than everyone else in the league. It will be interesting to see what CB does to those numbers.

Ironton will be D5, the CB numbers haven't been added yet.
Re: 2019 and 2020 Base Enrollment Figures
Did the enrollment numbers leave out students attending a vocational school who could compete for their home school?
Re: 2019 and 2020 Base Enrollment Figures
Looks like Waverly needs to find some schools closer to their size to play. I am guessing Burgs #s will go up by 25 or 30 with competitive balance #s added in.

As it stands Coal Grove is D VII. I like being there but I know we will get bumped up to D VI one the CB is added in.

Tim lives in burg goes to Burg add only himself to enrollment
Tim lives in minford has always went to burg, he now counts as two people (+1 tier)
Tim lives in green, if he decides to go to Burg in 7th grade or higher he will count as three ( + 2 tier )

Re: 2019 and 2020 Base Enrollment Figures
Most of these numbers will come back higher after the challenge period. Because these numbers come from a report. That really controls state funding to schools. The more students more funding.
So most schools looking to account for all students to be counted. I just glanced at numbers but a number that jumped out to me was fairland. If I looked at that number right enrollment will of dropped 40 or 50 kids?

Most of the time (not always), when you see a big drop or jump like that them the number is wrong.svac83 wrote: Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:13 am Most of these numbers will come back higher after the challenge period. Wheelersburg would/could take more students but they only have accommodations for so many students in which they must take their own kids first. Since Burg is a decent place to live housing is usually filled. Every now and then they could flirt with D4 but more than likely they will always be in D5.
