I love Gallia Academy and my blue devils but everyone predicting a 20 point win. Most have not seen the same team scrimmage twice that I have. I think we’re in for a pretty solid year but this team hasn’t checked some boxes that it is going to need to check to beat Meigs by 20. Maybe I will see it tommorow night.

Meant at jamboree game Friday night I only been off work 2 days in last 4 weeks. Today is last day of my work week finally get a few days off. So I feel like today should be Friday.

Meant at jamboree game Friday night I only been off work 2 days in last 4 weeks. Today is last day of my work week finally get a few days off. So I feel like today should be Friday.

I think jamboree game is Saturday. Not sure if it will be played. I hear SG may cancel. Rumor is they had a few quit and may only have 13 players now.

I don’t know if Meigs can put up 20 against GA’s defense. I would say that this game ends up more like a 35-12 type of game.

I mean Meigs put up 34 on the Devils last year when Cleland was making his first Varsity start as a Freshman.

Well I have seen both teams scrimmage and Gallia looks like a much better all around team. Yes meigs has a talented QB but his talent is useless with no one to target.

I’m not saying the Devils can’t shut out Meigs, I’m just trying to bring expectations in line with reality.

I made that statement before most teams had scrimmaged - and I think it was fair to say Meigs was very much an unknown quantity at that point.
