It sounds like Ironton has played no body good this year so far, they say they finally beat the Burg because this Burg team is down and young , and their last 2 games was not very good teams. And last week Burg got by with a 34 to 33 win in overtime … Ironton should win this game tonight , hoeer I would not be surprised if they do not win..

Like I said I am not surprised at all, Ashland is the real deal , and Ironton got Burg early without an offense .. All you have to do is stop the run against Ironton , no pass threat at all … Ironton is a good team not Great … If I were Ironton I would not what to play the Burg again this year, their offense is starting to roll

Don't wanna hear anything about the officiating from ironton fans. And as I stated earlier this week, ironton has underachived thus far. 1 running clock and and 1 loss. Not sure what the problem is with all their recruits.

Ashland is a soft football team this year. The 2 running backs are good, elusive, and speedy, but their line isn't physical and the defense is small. This will be exposed in a big way this week against Ironton and later this season when they play Russell. It's a matter of boys against men. Football is a physical and violent sport. Ashland is about to get that lesson this week just as Wheelersburg did in week 1.

Looks like the Fightin' Tigers learned a lesson; be humble and focus on one game at a time. Hope that high you rode for three weeks being obnoxious jerks was worth it to take one on the chin tonight, but I'm sure it wasn't.
