Good game by the Bulldogs they are a very talented football team. As for Wellston they should get a nice bounce back next week against Meigs before the big one against VC.

Athens ran the ball well....they actually were more physical than wellston especially the 1st half and I thought this was the difference maker. In the beginning i assumed this would have been the other way around. But none the less hats of to Athens. They definitely were the better team in the 1st half which carried them for 4qrters. Wellston just did not have enough both sides of the ball to play comeback ball. 6-2. Still not bad headed to week 9.
