I wouldn’t go by that, burg doesn’t kick to anyoneThe Flush wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 3:36 pm Waverly kicked off to Mathews, but Burg refused to kick to Shoemaker, so POY goes to Shoemaker.

Anyone have just the SOC stats from both?

Or does that mean COY should go to Burg? Honestly, if I was a special teams coach, I wouldn't kick to either one of them. The Flush wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 3:36 pm Waverly kicked off to Mathews, but Burg refused to kick to Shoemaker, so POY goes to Shoemaker.
I think he’s pretty confident in his kicker. Grayson kicked one out of bounds at the 5 yard line (which is his first this year), 3 touchbacks (including one that the ref missed
Let’s see shoemaker stats , whoever has better league stats wins itJack Sparrow wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 4:24 pm Mathews conference totals
63 rushes for 544 yards 7 TD (8.6 per)
9 rec for 215 yards and 3 TD (23.8 per)
In the two biggest conference games this season (minford and waverly) he had 73 carries for 403 and 4 TD. 4 catches for 97 yards 1 TD.
The most interesting part of that is, how many kids carried the ball or caught passes in minford and waverly games. I’d say 5 or 6. And in oak hill and valley where he didn’t play but a half how many people got touches.
Go head to head. Matthews wins.Poo Bear wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 4:46 pmLet’s see shoemaker stats , whoever has better league stats wins itJack Sparrow wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 4:24 pm Mathews conference totals

Those stats are thru 4 obviously
Do you throw in padding stats though
I’ve watched em both , I thought shoemaker was better but that’s just one game and one opinionfbnut wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 5:37 pmDo you throw in padding stats though
Mathews showed up huge when burg needed him in Minford and waverly games
I’m guessing shoemaker did as well
Not putting much into running clock games
Mathews against Minford a little over 200yds offensefbnut wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 5:37 pmDo you throw in padding stats though

Agree to championship team goes the spoils. And head to head play. Matthews it is...Omega wrote: Sat Oct 26, 2019 4:42 pm To the championship team, usually goes the spoils. Shoemaker without question has the stats, but Mathews has a claim based on being the MVP for the champs.
