Athens had a school staff member test positive for covid but after investigation by the health department, it was deemed no contact had been made from said staff member to anyone else at the school and Athens was cleared to resume all functions accordingly. Wellston said no thanks even though the Athens county health department deemed it to be a safe environment. It’s weird that two hours before kickoff they are worried about their kids safety but last week decided it was fine for their marching band to sit with Alexander parents and fans which wellston had no idea if they were sick or not. Lol Seems a bit shady to me.
