You’ll never see Minford go above .500 with Minford’s inner circle as the coaching staff.
It’s not the assistants they have won before it’s the head coach who won’t delegate or listen to anyone he needs to step down or be fired

I was told this very thing tonight that you have to throw out the records. Minford struggles with everyone it seems like, I'm sorry but when you have a couple of the top athletes in the league this doesn't happen. There's some serious soul searching needing to happen in Muletown, ppl at the beginning wanted to blame a 2 week layoff. Sorry it's been long proven now this team either is A) simply not as good as most thought or B) just not very well coached and simply can't get what they need out of the players. Congrats to Valley on a big win. Minford finishes 2-4, just wow.

Yeah that’s the problem why minford struggles with valley is coaching. You won’t find a better coached team.

Ruby should do the right thing and resign on his own, the experiment is over.

I’m not blaming the whole staff but there’s a certain few that have no business being on the sideline. Ruby being the main issue.

14-0 3 minutes left and throwing the ball gives valley their TO’s and again Ruby gets the Falcons beat again!!

Oh ouch, didn't know that. What happened in the final 3 minutes, because obviously valley scored and recovered an onside kick I'm guessing.

It's not just football either.

And the football team has good assistants. Matiz in particular.

Minford threw the ball the whole time on offense instead of milking the clock

I stopped watching this one in the 4th when it was 14-0. I was shocked to see this final score. What happened?

That's just crazy and I don't know how any coach can look at his players after that and talk to them. Unless he said hey I'm an idiot and I didn't put us in the best position to win at the end.

Grey goose I apologize you were right I don’t think 10 weeks of practice could help this squad. Oak Hill set Minford back to pre- Daniels days when they didn’t hire Ruby for their opening a few years back. Up 14-0 and burn zero time off the clock.... wow. Minford could easily be winless right now. I have talked to Ruby before and always hear he is a great guy and excellent teacher but his coaching tenure needs ended now.

I highly highly doubt that, this game was 10000% his fault. Defense was on the field all night got stops and offense used 30 seconds and 3 and out almost every time

I just hate it for the kids I think there was more talent there than a 2-4 record would indicate.

Think that's when he'd be driving home to a bunch of For Sale signs in his front yard to get the picture.

Dumb post. What a great win for the Indians. If you want to look at anything that lost the game look at Minfords play calling down the stretch

Valley controlled the line of scrimmage on defense and that is why minford couldn't run the ball. Minford was up 14-0 with 6 minutes left but Valley scored within a minute of that. Valley had 5 turnovers and still was right there at the end of the game. Was very exciting game, both teams about equal skill wise, but valley is playing 13-15 sophomores against a bunch of upper classmen... Future is bright for Valley
