Re: RD 3: Nelsonville (5-2) @ Fairland (6-1)
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between the Buckeyes and Dragons, but first time in 41 years. The last time they played was 1979. All games were decided by 10 points or less. The series is tied 1-1 when played at Fairland.
Fairland leads all-time series 3 wins, 1 loss
1976 Fairland (A) 16-6
1977 Fairland (H) 10-0
1978 Nelsonville-York (A) 20-16
1979 Fairland (H) 22-14

Was just poking fun that York was not in the name of the thread, but I always pull for my bucks. I don’t see why we can’t win this game but it will be tough for sure. Fairland has played well all season and NY has been hot since Wellston. Should be a good one

Finally got to watch NY live.
Since week 2 qb play has improved vastly
Ny is rolling should be a fun one .
Go BUCKEYES.

Gonna take NY in this one. Buckeyes are on a roll and I don’t know much about the Dragons. They still going to have players out being quarantined? Good luck Bucks from over the hill!!
NY - 32
Dragons - 24
NY - 32
Dragons - 24

It was late at night, and it struck me funny that a posters called "NY Buck," and "Orange and Brown" felt compelled to tell the world that they're picking Nelsonville-York to win - as though the whole message board didn't know who you'd be picking. It was probably way funnier in my head at midnight than it really is. Good luck. Maybe we'll see you in a week or two.

Good luck to Nelsonville. We had a good tough scrimmage with them so it wasn't surprising to see them advance.

Does Fairland have turf nowadays or still on grass ? That field was one of the worst in SEO for being uneven with peaks and valleys, divets, etc. and it didn't take much precipitation at all for it to easily become a mud pit years ago.

The field is still pretty rough, especially late in the season. Probably little or no grass left. Soccer game there tonight in the mud may help level it outFANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 1:09 pm Does Fairland have turf nowadays or still on grass ?
