What is the status of Federal Hocking in the TVC? Football returning in 2022?

NY will probably be the favorite but should be a lot of parity in the league

Nelsonville-York/Wellston will be at the top of the league. VC should be decent. Will have to wait and see who takes the coaching job.
Meigs should be better than last year.
Athens will be down considerably again
River Valley and Alex won't see much change.

Athens will be back. They had a massive freshman class I believe. NY, wellston, Meigs and VC should all be near the top of the standings. I’m most interested in seeing how RV does this year. The team with the most potential to make a move up in the standings IMO. How far? We shall see.

The NY/VC games have been very enjoyable the past couple years. Hope for another good game this year.

Absolutely! It’s been nice to see VC compete with the better teams in the conference. Definitely some instant classics over the last handful of years between NY and VC.

Imo, RV gonna have another rough year. Graduation last and this year have wiped out the major players and rumors around the school are if Peck is back, most of the team won't be, but we will see.

I'm not sure about all that Rvfan. I havent heard anything about kids not playing for Peck. Also, graduation wiped them out?!? They graduate 3 seniors here in 2021, and only one of them was a starter. The majority of the team in the fall will be a heavy Junior class plus Hash and Jones as the 2 stand out Seniors.

I've talked to some of the boys on the team and that's the consensus now, but some of them will change their minds, but why would they? 3 years and they've won what 5 or 6 games? Hard to get kids to play for a losing team.
Sure, Hash and Jones can run the ball, but who is going to block for them? Peck, Thaxton and Weber are gone, the coaches had the other bigger guys standing on the sidelines guarding the water cooler instead of putting them in. Watching them last year put littler kids on the line for their "speedplay packages" and getting run over every single time, doesn't leave much confidence for a winning season. They also need to teach them to wrap up when they tackle, it's not flag football! I get it, you don't want kids hurt in practice, but if you don't practice it, they don't know what to do during a game. Lots of other things need to be fixed before RV has a winning season again.
